[Windows] Software Tipp: “Open Command Window here” in Explorer
When using the Windows Explorer in Windows XP for browsing the file system I often like to switch to command line to open or execute something in the current directory. There is no fast shortcut like “Open command window here” or similar.
No problem: There is a very handy free powertoy tool from Microsoft to solve this problem. It is called CmdHere and it is completely free. Basically it is a context extension which adds an “Open Command Window Here” shortcut to the context menu option on file system folders.
You can directly download it from Micrsosoft: CmdHerePowertoySetup.
