My often used converters and calculators
I am pretty sure that I am not the only one who often uses several converters for measure unit conversion, timestamps to date conversion or some currency conversion. My browser is open nearly all the time I am on-line so it’s obvious to use web-based converters for this.
Here you find a list of converters I use on a regular basis:
- LDAP timestamp converter – Some times I access LDAP directories like Microsoft Active Directory via ADSI Edit or via LDAP Browser. Some dates are saved in timestamp format. These timestamps are not very human readable. The linked converter translates the timestamp to human readable date format.
- Hex to RGB color converter – From time to time I work with hex color codes and like to convert it to RGB format. Even though this conversion is easy to do without a converter I am to lazy and use a converter for this task. This converter can also calculate the reverse way from RGB to hex.
- Subnet calculator – I learned calculating all these things but it’s not easy to remember everything when not doing it all the day.
Do you use or know other handy calculators or converters?
